Step 2 Scheduling an Initial Consultation

• Language Options: Consultations are available in English and Japanese.

• Consultation Fees: An estimate will be provided upon scheduling your consultation.

 

Cancellation & Fees

• A cancellation fee applies for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled consultation.

• If a matter is terminated after engagement, fees will be invoiced based on work completed.

Engagement & Retainer Process

• Reviewing the Terms of Engagement
  
  We provide a Disclosure Statement & Costs Agreement outlining the scope of work, fees, and timelines based on your specific requirements.

• Signing the Disclosure Statement & Costs Agreement
  
  Once you have reviewed the terms, the agreement can be signed electronically or via physical documents.
   

• ​Commencing Legal Services for Your Matter
  
  Once you have formally engaged us to assist you with your matter, we will provide guidance on the next steps and commence legal services as required.
   

• Trust Account & Initial Deposit
  
  Upon engaging this law practice, an initial deposit will be held in out Trust Account to facilitate eAicient file management. Trust funds are maintained in accordance with Australian legal practice regulations, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  
  Funds will be allocated progressively to legal services as they are performed. At the conclusion of the matter, a final reconciliation will be conducted. Any unused funds will be refunded, providing clients with confidence and financial clarity throughout the engagement.

Step 4 Execution & Ongoing Support

Once we are formally engaged and trust money is deposited into our trust account, we will commence providing our legal service in accordance with the agreed scope of work.

Through the process, we provide regular updates on how the matter is progressing, ensuring full transparency. Clients will be consulted at key decision points, and we proactively address any evolving legal needs to secure the best possible outcome.

Completion & Post-Matter Support

​

• Upon completion, we issue a final invoice and provide any required deliverables.

• A Notice of Completion of Matter will be provided to you, formally closing the matter.

• If any related legal needs arise in the future, we oAer ongoing advisory support to ensure continuity and peace of mind.
